Therefore, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role in our team

As our new Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading contacts to key accounts and driving Terma's sales activities in primarily Indonesia – with the aim to promote, position, and sell Terma's products and solutions: Surveillance radars (SCANTER radars) as well as Sphera and prepare for CIP. Niche markets will include VTMS, CS, Airport SMR & CIP
You will become part of a team of highly professional colleagues and will be interacting with colleagues from other regions/countries as well as product specialists and sales support staff in Denmark.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for specific opportunities – including development of Capture plans for larger / strategic opportunities (ensure Order Intake)
  • Search and identify new opportunities in the market (build Pipeline)
  • Arrange and lead customer meetings
  • Preparing and delivery of presentations
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences
  • Make Proposals (including ROM proposals) and respond to customer enquiries
  • Make CRM entries and continuously update the information
  • Make calculations and upload them to CRM
  • Development Tender responses with support from Proposal Management and Applications
  • Ensure internal stakeholder involvement (e.g. Legal, Applications, Product Management, Finance, Programs, Service, Management)
  • Ensure internal approval reviews
  • Lead customer negotiations
  • Ensure Project handover to Programs
  • Make internal reporting (continuous CRM updating on opportunities and monthly pipeline meetings)

Additional tasks:

  • Participation in development of the VTS/CS application area including development of Go-to-Market strategy
  • Support the entire SMS business by controlling the sales impact on Terma’s Revenue and Production setup
  • Continuously be updated on product functionality and solution as well as relevant service offerings
  • Support development of marketing material
  • Bring back market requirements on new functionality and solutions as well as competitive information

You are fluent in Bahasa and English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

  • Education/degree: Technical, military and/or commercial, academic degree
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships over a long duration of time
  • Proven ability to create results alone or as part of a team effort
  • Independently working – leadership skills an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to navigate in a complex organization
  • Business acumen

You are a structured and result-oriented professional with a strong sales hunter mindset, yet also capable of handling the groundwork involved in bid preparation and coordinating with colleagues globally. Brings an international mindset, is analytical, trustworthy, and patient, with a clear focus on quality and high personal integrity. Enthusiastic and positive, with the ability to maintain a good overview, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and approach challenges with a practical mindset. A team-oriented and proactive problem solver, equipped with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
