Business Development

Establish Strategic Partnerships with mainstream banks, mobile network operators (MNOs), fintechs, and other financial service providers in Indonesia to expand agent banking and financial services distribution networks.
- Lead Business Development Efforts, including proposal development, client presentations, and pitches to secure new opportunities.
- Identify And Analyze Emerging Trends in financial distribution, digital payments, and agent banking to drive market expansion.
- Engage In Deal Origination, negotiating and securing business opportunities with financial service providers.
- Collaborate With MSC’s Marketing And Domain Teams to generate leads, convert prospects, and position MSC as a thought leader in financial distribution networks.
- Provide Strategic Leadership in MSC’s Inclusive Financial Ecosystem (IFE) consulting practice, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- Strengthen Client Relationships, building trust with existing and potential partners to expand MSC’s impact in Indonesia.
Business Execution

Deliver High-Impact Technical Assistance, ensuring the successful implementation of agent banking, mobile money distribution, and last-mile financial services projects.
- Maintain Quality Control over MSC’s consulting engagements, ensuring high standards in project execution and client deliverables.
- Represent MSC In Key Industry Forums, conferences, and seminars to shape discussions on financial distribution networks and digital financial inclusion.
- Develop And Publish Thought Leadership Content, including articles, whitepapers, and research on BFSI sector trends, distribution strategies, and innovations in financial services.
- Build And Maintain A Strong Professional Network within the banking, fintech, and mobile money sectors.
- Ensure Client Satisfaction And Project Success by delivering tailored, data-driven solutions that enhance financial distribution networks.
- Mentor And Develop MSC Team Members, providing guidance, quality oversight, and professional growth opportunities to enhance internal capabilities
Requirements
Academic/ Professional Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Economics, Public/Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field is desirable.
- Relevant professional certifications in digital finance, payments, financial inclusion, or related areas are an added advantage.
Experience
12–14 Years of experience in agent banking, payments, digital financial services (DFS), financial inclusion, or financial distribution networks.

Strong knowledge of the Indonesian payments landscape, agent banking regulations, and digital finance business models.

Proven expertise in Scaling And Optimizing Agent Networks within banks, fintechs, or MNO-led mobile money ecosystems.

Experience working on Large, Complex, Multi-Country Programs is desirable.

Extensive experience in Live Research And Consulting Projects, primarily in Indonesia; additional exposure to international markets is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with Regulators, Donors, And Financial Service Providers on DFS and financial inclusion initiatives.
