Job Summary: The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging and relevant content for various social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Content Creation and Curation:
- Write, edit, and publish compelling text, image, and video content that resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and on-brand assets.
- Curate user-generated content and industry news to supplement the content calendar.
- Community Management:
- Monitor all social media channels and engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and nurture an online community by fostering positive interactions and brand loyalty.
- Proactively identify and address any negative feedback or crises, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all social media campaigns using analytics tools.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversion rates.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing future social media activities based on data.
- Campaign Management:
- Manage and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to achieve specific marketing objectives (e.g., lead generation, website traffic, brand awareness).
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives and targeting to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience with social media platforms and their respective analytics tools.
- Experience with content creation and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Skills:
