ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Description
1. Raw Material & Packaging Material Planning:
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials for co-packing operations.
- Work with suppliers and procurement teams to manage material lead times and deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
2. Finished Goods Planning & Inventory Management:
- Develop production and supply plans to meet co-packing demand.
- Ensure finished goods inventory aligns with customer orders and market demand.
- Track stock levels and optimize warehouse space to reduce carrying costs.
3. Co-Packer Coordination:
- Collaborate with co-packers to align production schedules with material availability.
- Communicate forecasts and inventory needs to ensure smooth operations.
- Address any supply chain disruptions affecting co-packing efficiency.
4. Supply Chain & Logistics Alignment:
- Work with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support seamless production and distribution.
5. Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Generate reports on material consumption, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.
