Responsibilities:
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's full compliance with all tax regulations while supporting our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Tax Transaction Management: Verifying and accurately recording all tax-related transactions, including VAT In/Out, Income Tax Article 21, 23, and 4(2), and Corporate Income Tax.
- Reconciliation & Documentation: Performing regular reconciliations between tax data and accounting records, and diligently managing all tax withholding slips.
- Tax Reporting & Submission: Preparing and submitting monthly VAT and Income Tax (Article 21, 23, 4(2)) returns, as well as assisting with the preparation of annual Corporate Income Tax returns.
- Regulatory Compliance: Staying updated on the latest tax regulations relevant to the logistics and freight forwarding industry, and ensuring their correct implementation within company procedures.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential tax risks and proposing strategies for mitigation to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Collaborating closely with finance, operations, and HR departments to gather necessary data for tax calculations and reporting.
- Audit Support: Preparing and providing necessary documentation for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
- Hold Brevet A & B certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in tax accounting, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL industry.
- Thorough understanding of accounting cycles, financial principles, and Indonesian tax laws.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) is a must.
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using accounting software and tax reporting applications (e-Faktur, e-SPT).
