Test Manager

Key Responsibilities:· Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project.· Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources required to perform the testing.· Organize the testing kick-off meeting· Define the Strategy· Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation. Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Client· Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client.· Act as the single point of contact between BA, Users, Development and Testers.· Follow escalation matrix· Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.· Review various reports prepared by Test engineers & ensure test case optimization.· Ensure timely delivery of different testing milestones.· Prepare and maintain time sheets of resources and forward the same to Company’s manager for approval.· Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.· Perform Internal Testing Audits· Regular review of test scripts· Highlight risk and issue found during testing to company representative immediately as found and maintain issue/risk log tracker as control.· Should have 8+ years of experience in Agile Testing (Manual + Automation). Required Skills & Experience:· 12+ years of overall QA experience with at least 5 years in a Test Manager role.· Indian expat with KITAS or local Indonesia candidate· Strong domain knowledge in Insurance (Life) – policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, etc.· Proven experience in managing distributed teams across onshore/offshore models.· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.· Ability to drive solutioning discussions and bring innovative ideas to optimize QA delivery.· Hands-on experience with test management.
