Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our creative team at a fast-paced marketing agency. The ideal candidate is experienced in editing professional video content tailored to meet client objectives, branding needs, and marketing campaigns. This role is essential in producing visually compelling stories that drive engagement and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, on-brand videos based on business briefs or client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and audience targeting.
- Create various video formats including promotional ads, corporate videos, product explainers, social media reels, and more.
- Incorporate motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and color grading to enhance video quality.
- Ensure videos meet brand standards, timelines, and technical specifications across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Stay updated on video editing trends, tools, and industry best practices.
- Manage file organization, version control, and project archiving systematically.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in professional video editing (marketing agency experience preferred).
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of social media video specifications and trends is a plus.
- Motion graphics and basic animation skills are an added advantage.
