Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive, highly organized Project Manager to oversee and drive key projects for Clubhouse, particularly as we continue to expand and open new locations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with our business goals. From new court development to site expansions, the Project Manager will be integral in bringing the vision of Clubhouse to life across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for ongoing and upcoming projects (e.g., new padel courts, facility construction, and infrastructure improvements).
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of each project phase.
2. Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Identify potential roadblocks and bottlenecks in projects early on, offering proactive solutions and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Ensure that any delays or complications are resolved in a timely and efficient manner without compromising quality or budget.
3. Budget Management & Cost Control:
- Oversee project budgets, tracking costs, invoices, and payments for contractors and vendors.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, keeping them updated on project status and any changes.
- Prepare status reports, project documentation, and progress updates for leadership (CEO and other stakeholders).
5. Quality Control:
- Ensure that all work completed aligns with Clubhouse’s standards for quality and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and design specifications.
6. Team Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, marketing, HR) to ensure projects align with broader company goals.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other relevant departments to ensure smooth integration of new spaces once projects are completed.
7. Timeline Management:
- Ensure that project timelines are met and milestones are achieved as planned.
- Adjust project schedules as needed based on changing circumstances or external factors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally within construction, real estate, or a sports-related environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, cost controls, and deliver projects on time.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and permits.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the sports industry (e.g., padel, tennis, fitness facilities).
- Background in facility management or new location setup.
- Experience working with contractors and external vendors.
