Account Payable Intern

• Invoice Processing: Assist in processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Verification: Support the team in checking supporting documents (purchase orders, receiving reports, and contracts).
• Payments: Assist in preparing payment schedules, tracking due dates, and creating bills-to-pay entries for review.
• Documentation: Ensure all payment-related documents are properly organized and stored in Google Drive.
• Vendor Communication: Liaise with vendors and internal users to resolve invoice disputes, discrepancies, or payment status inquiries.
• Reconciliation: Support reconciliation of AP accounts and vendor balances.
• Month-End Closing: Participate in closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Systems & Reporting:
• Support data entry and reporting in the company’s accounting/ERP system.
• Help prepare simple AP reports (e.g., aging reports, outstanding invoices).
• Compliance: Assist in ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies in payment processing.
• Learning Opportunities: Develop skills in financial operations, reporting, and cross-department collaboration.

• Undergraduate student or fresh graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliation).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willingness to learn, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or exposure to accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) is a plus but not required.
