Job Summary:
Smoke Bali is a BBQ–focused restaurant in the heart of Canggu, known for its low-and-slow smoked meats and laid-back atmosphere. We are seeking a young, talented, and motivated Mixologist / Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and help shape a dynamic beverage program that complements our food concept. The ideal candidate is not only passionate about cocktails but also enjoys creating engaging digital content and working collaboratively with our social media team to enhance the restaurant’s brand.
- Key Responsibilities:
Bar Operations & Service Excellence
- Manage daily bar operations to ensure consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate bar teams to deliver a high-quality beverage experience.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, stock levels, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage beverage inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships.
Menu Development & Innovation:
- Design and execute an innovative and seasonal cocktail menu aligned with Smoke Bali culinary identity.
- Explore new beverage trends, infusions, and local ingredients to create standout signature drinks.
- Conduct regular tastings, staff training, and product knowledge sessions.
Content Collaboration & Branding
- Collaborate with in-house photo/videographer to create visually engaging content for social media.
- Participate in photoshoots, cocktail videos, and storytelling that elevate the brand’s presence.
- Be a face and personality for the bar in marketing campaigns when needed.
Team Collaboration & Guest Experience
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager & Head Chef to ensure seamless front-of-house operations.
- Engage with guests to offer a personalized and memorable bar experience.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively improve the service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mixologist and Bar Manager.
- Strong cocktail knowledge and a good sense of balance and creativity.
- A team player who loves a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Passionate, energetic, and willing to grow within the hospitality industry.
