About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to lead our performance marketing efforts across all paid channels. You will manage a team of performance marketers, oversee campaign execution, and work cross-functionally to drive revenue growth and acquisition efficiency. You’ll be the go-to expert for paid acquisition — and play a key role in scaling the company’s reach and impact.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising, with a proven track record of managing high-performing campaigns and leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the performance marketing team, ensuring campaigns are executed to a high standard and aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement paid media strategies across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms to drive qualified leads and revenue.
- Monitor and optimise performance marketing KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CPL, CTR, etc.) across all channels.
- Own the monthly advertising budget and allocate spend efficiently across channels to maximise ROI.
- Collaborate closely with creative, growth marketing, SEO, and tech teams to drive integrated marketing strategies.
- Drive the experimentation roadmap — testing new channels, creatives, and landing pages.
- Set up dashboards and performance reports to communicate marketing effectiveness and areas for optimisation to senior leadership.
- Stay ahead of trends in performance marketing and digital advertising, applying insights to our campaigns.
- Present strategic insights, forecasts, and recommendations to the Head of Marketing and CEO.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial capacity.
- Strong experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Data-driven mindset with high proficiency in analysing performance data (Excel/Sheets, Looker Studio, GA4).
- The ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise in web analytics tracking and tag management. This includes proven proficiency in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting Google Tag Manager containers, encompassing tags, triggers, and variables for complex website structures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and grow junior marketers through coaching and feedback.
- Experience managing large monthly budgets effectively and responsibly.
- Ability to work well cross-functionally with creative, growth, and technical teams.
- Proactive, analytical, and highly organised, with strong project management skills.
