How you create impact
- Monitor and manage the transportation of cargo to laydown areas, ensuring no damage, delays, or non-compliance with procedures.
- Ensure all cargo is properly lashed and secured using certified binding equipment and based on designated securing points.
- Work closely with stevedoring teams, land transport operators, and lifting teams to ensure seamless execution of operations.
- Maintain updated knowledge of critical lifting/lashing procedures and equipment, ensuring alignment with current standards.
- Ensure all lifting, transport, and safety documents are prepared and executed as per company and customer requirements.
- Represent the company on-site, addressing operational matters with clients and subcontractors professionally and effectively.
What we would like you to bring
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project logistics or freight forwarding operations, specifically in cargo handling roles.
- Strong exposure to customs clearance, compliance, and on-site execution.
- Experience in lifting and carrier planning, cargo lashing, and equipment handling is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of lifting plans, loading/unloading procedures, and cargo securing techniques.
- Strong coordination skills with ability to manage various teams and subcontractors on-site.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and execution standards.
- Language:Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage.
- Travel:Willingness to travel frequently to remote project sites or ports as required.
