1. Identify and Pursue New Projects
Actively seek out new hotel development opportunities, acquisitions, or management contracts.
Conduct in-depth research to identify properties and locations that align with the company’s growth objectives.
2. Hotel Takeovers
Identify underperforming or strategic properties for operational takeover.
Assess the financial and operational aspects of potential properties to ensure alignment with company standards.
3. Project and Lead Management
Manage and follow-up all leads and project referrals, ensuring they are promptly reviewed and pursued.
Collaborate with internal teams, investors, and property owners to evaluate referred opportunities.
4. Negotiation and Deal Closure
Lead and manage ongoing negotiations for new projects or property takeovers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the company.
Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of management agreements, leases, or acquisition contracts.
5. Relationship Building
Build strong networking with property developers, real estate agents, hotel owners, and industry partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for external partners involved in potential or ongoing projects in order to maintain partnership.
6. Strategic Contribution
Work towards achieving the company’s growth targets through strategic project development.
Identify opportunities to expand into new regions or segments.
Report customer, client, and owner satisfaction and feedback quarterly to the Senior Vice President Operations and Development.
Provide regular market intelligence updates and reports to support decision-making.
7. Monitoring and Reporting
Maintain an updated pipeline of potential projects and ensure timely reporting to management.
Provide insights and reports on the progress of new projects, negotiations, and market developments.
Familiar with national and regional regulations in the market.
Plan and actively participate in industry events and exhibitions.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, ideally within the hospitality industry.
Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, management agreements, and market analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, task management and multitasking abilities.
