Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Implement and optimize event-driven architecture to support high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines.
- Manage Kafka clusters, including setup, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or other streaming frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, backend developers, solution architects) to integrate Kafka with enterprise systems.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of event streaming platforms.
- Provide technical expertise, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Minimum Qualifications: Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Backend Engineer, or related role.
- Proven hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, or Python.
- Familiar with data integration, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred: Relevant certification in Kafka or event streaming platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
