YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Be part of a global team of InfoSec engineers/analysts to provide a Proactive service that helps in preventing security incidents by reviewing security gaps and recommending controls.
- Work in a highly automated environment and provide ideas and feedback to develop the SIEM platform to improve detection and hunting capabilities.
- Research new threats, attack techniques and propose methods of detection and prevention
- Recognize attacker and APT activity, tactics, and procedures as indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can be used to improve monitoring, analysis, and incident response.
- Effectively investigative and identify root cause findings then communicate findings to stakeholders including technical teams, and leadership to improve PMI's security posture.
- Experience of working with Sentinel and MS Defender.
- Provide security expertise to support detection & analysis of malicious activity to the SOC team including training or documentation when needed
- Participate in a variety of InfoSec projects to adapt PMI detection and handling strategies to the evolution of cyber threats.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years’ experience performing detection and response activities in various and complex environments (IT, OT, Cloud)
- Full understanding of Tier 1 responsibilities and duties and how the duties feed into Tier 2, Tier 3. The ability to take lead on investigation/research when appropriate and be able to mentor junior analysts
- Experience with SIEM and SOAR solutions such as SPLUNK, Sentinel including rule creation and testing correlation
- Contribute to the drafting of procedures, and related guidelines within an area of expertise to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements
- Curiosity and motivation to discover and stop new attack techniques
- Desire to share knowledge, build trust, and develop growth-mindset within a global multicultural team
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, and interact with InfoSec or IT teams
- Experience working in the in a global organization is a plus
- Candidate must be reliable and able to function as part of a diverse team to deliver a variety of services including Table Top exercises, simulations and other initiatives
- Experience of working with major Cloud technologies e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure
- Experience performing Malware analysis on Windows, Mac, and reverse engineering is a plus
- Provide input and recommendations for tuning of SIEM alerts.
- Desirable Certifications include: CISSP, CCNA (Security), GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC or any major Cloud Security Certifications e.g. AWS Certified - Security Specialty
