Role Purpose
We are seeking a driven and relationship-oriented professional to support the continued growth of Aon Indonesia, focusing on two key strategic client segments: Mining and Energy. This is a business-focused role, centered on building and nurturing senior-level relationships, particularly at the C-suite level, within key organizations in these sectors. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Risk Capital and Human Capital teams to deliver integrated Aon solutions and convert high-potential leads into long-term clients.
What the day will look like
Growth and Sales
- Generate profitable sales across all solution lines by engaging with C-suite or senior stakeholders.
- Develop and execute a defined sales strategy.
- Develop a robust sales and prospecting pipeline within the Mining & Energy market.
- Take full ownership of converting prospects into clients and ensure a smooth handover to Account Management teams.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities by demonstrating expertise in risk and people solutions.
- Lead tender responses and develop high-quality presentations in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling initiatives in the Large Market segment, including introducing Aon United services where appropriate.
Operational Excellence
- Follow Aon’s sales process protocols, including maintaining a clearly defined sales strategy and accurate pipeline updates via Aon Connect.
Leadership
- Build trusted relationships with Growth and DAU leadership to foster collaboration and Aon United opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Human Capital Consulting and Corporate Risk Solutions teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record in senior sales or account management roles, ideally with exposure to large or complex deals.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Mining and Energy sectors is highly desirable.
- Sales Approach: Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to frame opportunities and deliver value-led propositions.
- Communication: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English to engage with both local and international stakeholders.
- Presence: Confident and professional in front of clients, capable of building credibility quickly.
- Mindset: Self-starter, organized, collaborative, and driven to succeed.
- Background: Insurance or risk experience is not required—training and support will be provided.
