The Business Innovation Strategist plays a key role in driving BIU’s incubation efforts to identify, test, and validate new business opportunities for Evermos. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring the ability to think like a business consultant while acting like a project driver on the ground.
The role involves scanning markets, finding product–market fit, designing pilot strategies, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution. Beyond planning, the strategist is expected to act as PMO, managing the cadence, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring that pre-requisites and hygiene processes are in place. With a strong background and street-smart approach, the strategist is expected to quickly identify what works, cut unnecessary learning costs, and deliver tangible early wins that lead to scalable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify Opportunities – Scout and evaluate new products or business streams, building simple business cases to validate potential.
- Design & Execute Pilots – Develop incubation plans, run pilots hands-on, and secure early traction through efficient execution.
- Act as PMO – Drive project cadence, monitor progress, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve milestones.
- Prepare for Scale – Manage the incubation process end-to-end, ensuring all prerequisites are completed before scale-up.
- Mitigate Risks & Capture Learnings – Establish fallback strategies, minimize risks, and document insights to refine future pilots.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, product innovation, or project management, preferably in FMCG, herbal/consumer products, or startup incubation.
- Proven track record of executing go-to-market or incubation strategies with measurable success.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on “street-smart” approach to execution.
- Solid understanding of project management practices and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Skilled in opportunity assessment, risk mitigation, and fast decision-making under uncertainty.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to align diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quick wins in a dynamic environment.
