Head of Product & Marketing plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing end-to-end product marketing strategies. This position leads the development of product positioning, market messaging, customer understanding, and campaign effectiveness tailored for general trade channels. The role demands strong commercial insight, market-driven thinking, and cross-functional leadership to grow market share and brand equity in diverse and dynamic environments.

- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for products in the general trade segment, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Build product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions for the target audience.
- Lead market research efforts to understand trade dynamics, customer personas, category trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Distribution Network teams to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Ensure all communication materials are aligned with brand identity, tailored to customer needs, and consistent across touchpoints.
- Monitor and analyze campaign and product performance, using insights to improve future outcomes.
- Develop frameworks for pricing, promotion, packaging, and placement in line with trade strategy.
- Act as the key voice of the customer, supporting internal stakeholders with relevant customer and market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in FMCG product marketing, trade marketing, or commercial strategy, preferably in General Trade.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, retail execution, and trade dynamics in traditional channels.
- Proven leadership in building and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate insights into compelling narratives.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical acumen and commercial judgment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across business units.
