- Has strong understanding about process knowledge of system and equipment in the building and Data Center (Chiller, AHU, Genset, CRAH, Plumbing, etc.).
- Able to translate project specification and requirement and develop into complete BMS design (System Architecture, Bill of Materials, Panel Drawing, Installation Documents: Layout Drawing, Cable Schedule Drawing, Point Schedule, etc.) using MS Visio and CAD (or other drawing software).
- Able to create/develop SOO (Sequence of Operations) or Logic Flowchart for the system operations.
- Able to develop Chiller Sequencing from simple to complex configuration from scratch in DDC/PLC along with GUI in SCADA system.
- Able to develop all logic control and monitoring for all equipment/system that available in the building (Chiller, AHU, Genset, CRAH, Plumbing, etc.).
- Able to configure the relational database SQL as required by the SCADA system.
- Able to configure all features required in the SCADA as per required by the customer (Trend Log, Trend Chart, Event Log, Alarm, Report, etc.).
- Able to do integration to other equipment/system using standard open protocol Modbus TCP/RTU, BACNet, Lontalk/Lonwork, IEC 104/101, etc. (including integration to upstream using MQTT, OPC, etc.) and to do troubleshooting if communication/network issue happens.
- Able to lead engineering activities (including creating and maintaining project schedule of technical scope) from the beginning stage of the project until the completion of the project and coordinate/communicate with all stakeholders (Internal, Customer, Vendor, Subcontractor, etc.). Also providing technical support/guide to the team on site (including installation team), as well as sharing knowledge to the other team members.
- Able to work under pressure, multitasking (parallel working on some projects) while maintaining good quality output.
- Able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders and fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Good documentation skill (mastering good documentation practice).
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
- 5-10 years’ experience as BMS engineer with responsibility and job scope as mentioned on section “What will you do?”.
- BMS engineer that working on chiller manufacturers such as Trane, York, etc.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is added value.
