Scope of Work Growth Marketing Support - External Collaborator
Background
Save the Children Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, Save the Children in Indonesia has been designated as a member. We have been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle-income countries. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, and local civil society among others. Save the Children Indonesia is expanding its digital fundraising efforts to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape and reach a wider audience to support our mission of ensuring every child’s right to survival, education, and protection. As digital channels continue to grow in influence, the need for a dedicated Growth Marketing Support has emerged to lead and optimize our online campaigns. This role will focus on scaling up digital fundraising through performance marketing, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with internal teams and external platforms.
The Objective of Consultancy
Growth Marketing Support will support Growth Marketing team to increase digital fundraising income through well-planned and optimized digital campaigns, enhance donor acquisition and retention through performance marketing, and strengthen the organization's presence across online platforms by leveraging data, content, and digital tools. The Growth Marketing Support will also play a key role in testing new strategies, exploring new digital channels, and supporting the broader fundraising and marketing objectives.
Deliverables
- Plan, Execute, and Optimize Digital Fundraising Campaigns: Develop and implement digital fundraising campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, and emerging channels. Continuously explore and test new performance marketing strategies to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Optimize Campaign Performance: Monitor and refine campaign performance to achieve income targets. Ensure efficient use of ad budgets through ongoing optimization and audience segmentation.
- Analyze and Recommend Improvements: Collect, analyze, and evaluate campaign data using digital marketing tools. Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to exceed fundraising goals.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Research new digital marketing tools, technologies, and best practices. Apply innovative strategies to keep digital fundraising campaigns relevant and competitive.
- Monitor and Report Campaign Performance: Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to track campaign progress and ROI. Provide actionable insights and ensure transparency in reporting.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with content and creative teams to produce compelling ad materials. Coordinate with database and webmaster teams to ensure data alignment and technical campaign optimization. Work collaboratively with other fundraising and program teams to align digital campaigns with overall organizational goals.
- Manage Website Content: Upload and update digital fundraising-related content on the organization's website. Ensure alignment of website materials with ongoing campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
- Crowdfunding and Community Engagement: Collaborate with crowdfunding platforms to run joint fundraising campaigns as part of their CSR or philanthropic efforts. Engage communities and empower them to co-create campaigns on the organization’s website.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing or Growth Marketing role, preferably within fundraising.
- Proficient in analytics and visualization tools: Google Analytics 4, Google Data Studio, Salesforce, and Excel/Google Sheets. •
- Familiarity with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce).
- Solid understanding of paid media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads) analytics.
- Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
