Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving and shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Supervise freight flow processes, maintaining communication with suppliers, buyers, shipping lines, agents, and vendors.
- Address customer inquiries and delivery concerns professionally and promptly.
- Deliver exceptional service to clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate freight handling by ensuring loading/unloading equipment is prepped and ready before shifts.
- Ensure all shipments are sorted and tagged accurately based on delivery orders and customs requirements.
- Complete all freight and customs paperwork accurately, maintaining clean and organized records.
- Investigate and resolve issues such as misdirected shipments and seal discrepancies swiftly.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Customer Service, Operations, Compliance) to support smooth customs clearance.
