The Opportunity
Focus on managing, developing and implementing strategies to maintain and grow all of Aon Indonesia mining acounts.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all mining accounts and new business related to mining / metal processing and mining construction.
- Directs the operation of the business unit to maintain established cost and quality standards, attain projected revenue and profit levels and achieve client satisfaction goals.
- Develop/ update the business unit’s business plan in line with Specialty Department and the Company, and monitors financial performance to safeguard the business’s profitability.
- Integrates regional objectives, plans and budgets to ensure the achievement of agreed objectives.
- Executes annual business unit’s business plans and prudently manages business unit’s resources
within the budget guidelines.
- Annual and monthly forecasting, credit control, timely processing, claims oversight and renewal/retention management
- Client relationship management, sector sales (in co-ordination with Sales Team), & marketing, events, administration and operations of the business unit, noting that some functions reside in other units.
- Develops and maintains an organization structure which encourages colleagues to seek opportunities to ensure growth and continued profitability. Ensure that colleagues are selected, trained, counselled and rewarded to maintain performance standards.
- Fulfils governance function and ensures that all corporate activities and operations are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Acts as chief spokesperson for the BU in dealing with major customers, carriers, industry events and business initiatives in Indonesia.
- Maintains a positive community image and remains current on local business trends.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Bachelor’s degree
- A solid & proven experience background in related field in cross-cultural background
- Strong client relationship management within the country and region
- Result driven with a solid background in commercial negotiations
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Good in English
